Writer/Director/Editor, Alec Goldberg's background in architecture has informed his filmmaking approach through intentionality and an exploration of form versus function. His work includes scripted, unscripted, and commercial projects.
His short doc What Happened to You played at DOC NYC, was nominated at Hawaii International, and won Best Documentary Short at WACO, and the Jury Award at Woods Hole. His doc feature Sitting in the Fire screened at Heartland International, Dances with Films, and won Best Documentary at Austin Underground, Catalina, Hamilton, Impact DOC Awards, and Voice of the Future. He then created, wrote and directed Soft Boil, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2026. He will be releasing his sci-fi novel and audiobook, Mother Mars, in late 2026 and his graphic novel After Eden in early 2027.
